Big designs led to the success of the North Wales estate agent’s new housing campaign

Large projects from talented art students hold the keys to a long-standing partnership with one of the country’s top real estate agents.

Learners of the Foundation Studies in Art and Design course at Grwp Llandrillo Menai worked alongside Williams Estates to develop a series of images for their Home is where the heart is countryside.

The college’s Rhos-on-Sea site cohort created bespoke posters for an innovative illuminated display case that will capture the attention of clients and passers-by in their offices in Holywell, Denbigh, Mold, Rhyl, Ruthin, Prestatyn and Rhuddlan .

This comes as Director Jason Williams and the team were once again named Best Rental Agency in Denbighshire at the British Property Awards for 2021/22, adding to the impressive range of customer service industry awards that ‘they won this year.

Jason said: “We have had an amazing year and it has been crowned by the brilliant work of the students at Llandrillo.

“We’re always keen to try and support the college and the next generation of artists and designers with real, real-time projects that will enhance our marketing and profile while providing them with a life-saving experience.

“The end result is a fabulous and eye-catching digital poster using different concepts that will definitely turn heads – we love it and thank them for their incredible efforts.”

This is the sixth year in a row that Williams Estates has given the Art and Design department a creative brief.

“And every year we’re absolutely blown away by what they come up with,” Jason said.

“This Christmas is no different, they have gone above and beyond.”

Speaker Dewi Owen Hughes added, “I fully support such links with industry as I believe that realistic creative work projects dramatically improve the experience and future employability of our art and design students.

“Our learners gain so much value working on this folder and they can’t wait to see their creative work printed and used by Williams Estates in a state-of-the-art LED illuminated pocket display case. “

Reflecting on their latest awards win, which came just weeks after winning six titles at ESTAS – including their ninth gold for Best Selling Agent in Wales – Jason said: “This is testament to our staff , who – despite the challenges of the pandemic – went above and beyond to support our customers and provide exceptional service.

“That this is successfully recognized at two such prestigious industry awards ceremonies is a major honor for us. “
